Single centre & two centres self-guided walking holidays

Our self-guided walking holidays (single or two centres) include all of these benefits, and give guests the flexibility to choose their own holiday dates. You can of course combine a few days in one location with a few in another. This freedom will enable you to select holiday start dates that make the most of cheap flight availability.

They start and finish at the hotel at which they are based, and you have the choice of either making your own transfer arrangements or we can take care of it for you. We are always happy to provide additional information specific to your journey, including how to reach the hotel from port of entry.

Along with the road and walking maps we give you, we include the addresses and phone numbers you will need for restaurants, taxis, emergencies etc.

Local festivals

If you would like to combine one with your walking just let us know and we will help with the dates.

Child-friendly holidays

These are ideal family holidays for those with children who enjoy walking and adventure. A hire car gives you complete flexibility and there is no compulsion to walk every day, if you don’t want to.

ACCOMMODATION

For all of our self-guided walking holidays there are three accommodation options:

• Half board (bed, breakfast and evening meal) in quality small hotels and apartments which offer well appointed bedrooms with private bathroom, excellent food. If you want the simple life, choose our full board option and we’ll prepare your picnics and provide you with dinner.
• Bed and breakfast accommodation in cosy family-run apartment guest houses which offer comfortable rooms, lots of space with private bathroom. If you want a little more adventure, take the b&b option and practice your Greek amidst the fresh fruit and veg  and cheeses of the local shops.
• Self catering studios, for the confirmed independents.

With any of the options guests are assured of the same warm welcome and a superb location for their holiday.

In Vatera (South Lesvos)

Our three- keys apartment guest house MADONNA STUDIOS can accommodate up to 18 guests, and all rooms have: central heating; A/C, en suite facilities; kitchenette, TV’s ; hair dryers, hospitality trays, and wonderful views of the Vatera bay  and the surrounding hills from the spacious verandas . The cosy bar and outdoor terrace for breakfasts in the mornings and relaxing drinks in the evenings is very popular.

In Plomari (South Lesvos)

The Aegean Sun Hotel (43 Hotel Rooms accommodating up to 4 persons, in traditionally build villas) situated 500 m from the beach of Agios Isidoros and 8 minutes away

from the town of Plomari, it combines panoramic views of the Aegean, tranquillity and

comfortable facilities for perfect holidays. Each of the rooms with sea- view balconies benefit from: Air conditioning, Direct Dial Telephone, TV / Satellite TV, Mini Bar, Hair dryer. The hotel facilities include:

In Molyvos (North Lesvos)

The St. George’s Studios  (6 studios accommodating 2 - 3 persons each, with interlinking doors that makes possible the pairing up of 2 studios for the use of families ) are located in a secluded but easy to get to position, with panoramic views of the Molyvos Castle and the Aegean Sea. Their high promontory position with spacious balconies and panoramic views is hard to rival. They are very comfortable, well furnished with their own bathrooms , cooking facilities & A/C .
