MADONNA is centrally located, 150 meters from the Vatera beach at its most central point, the signs junction. From MADONNA it will take you 2 min. to walk to the beach and 5 min. to walk to the shops, tavernas and bars, lining the esplanade.

DIRECTIONS

Travelling on the main road from Vrisa to Vatera and just before you reach the beach, there is a small crossroads. You turn left and the property rises before you, holding a vantage point over the bay of Vatera. It is sign posted with a large reflector sign at the right side of the cross roads, with a red arrow pointing to your left, clearly visible as you approach the last 100 m to the beach, and smaller signs at the border and gate of the property. You just can’t miss it now, even at night!

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This attractive complex opened in 1990 and is run as a family business. To start with it operated as self-catering accommodation for independent Greek and International holidaymakers. In the late 90’s it experienced a very successful three-year period with a well-known UK Tour Operator, but for the last five years a conscious choice was made to revert to its old client group of Independent Holidaymakers and it has done so very successfully. The property has been constantly improved over the years, to keep up with modern trends and requirements.

As from late 2004 it has the facilities to provide the Hotel type services of reception, breakfast room, licensed bar, Internet Café, sale of tobacco, guides, maps, postcards, stamps safety boxes in the rooms and as always nothing is too much trouble for the obliging English speaking owners, Dimitra and Vaios.

It’s location as always guarantees breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. This is an absolute bonus for the birdwatchers, (independent and groups) which have made it their base in resent years. Flower borders, mature gardens, spacious back patios and a sun terrace at the front of the property with BBQ facilities, surround the two storey buildings. A green hillside, commodious parking spaces bellow the sun terrace and a small orchard are part of the same site.

Madonna offers home comforts, modern conveniences and a peaceful environment, making it also an ideal choice for relaxing and stress free family holidays. These advantages bring back, year after year the same customers (over the years have become friends), their friends and many other new customers from all corners of the Globe.

AVAILABLE ACCOMMODATION

  • Five, one room apartments (three at raised ground floor & two at first floor level) each with their own private entrance, internal hallway, separate kitchen and bathroom. They are brightly decorated and traditionally furnished with fitted wardrobe/dressing table, 1 double bed & 2 stacking singles, (converting to a sofa) to accommodate 2 – 4 persons.

  • Four, two roomed apartments (one at raised ground floor & three at first floor level) each with their own private entrance with open plan kitchen and bathroom. They are brightly decorated and traditionally furnished to accommodate 4 persons. The main bedroom is furnished with double bed, and fitted wardrobe/dressing table. The second room is furnished with two single beds converting to a sofa, table and chairs.

The kitchens are fully equipped with fridges, electric cookers (inc. grill & oven), electric kettles, crockery, glassware and cutlery for 4 persons. Additional small appliances can be requested at the time of booking. The bathrooms are supplied with cold & hot water supplied by solar system (& electrical back up system if necessary).

All apartments have totally private, shaded, spacious front balconies with magnificent sea views and the potential for "eau natural " sunbathing if you so desire. The raised ground floor apartments have equally spacious back patios and the first floor apartments long, airy back verandas affording invigorating mountain views. Each of the balconies and patios are furnished with table and four chairs.
