Getting Here
 All main roads are paved with asphalt while the gravel roads leading to popular beaches and sightseeing are generally well maintained. There are several taxis and car-rental offices on the island as well as basic bus services.
There are regular flights by Olympic Airways to and from Athens, Thessalonica and Mytilini.

There are regular ferry services to the port of Myrina:
Regular - from and to Rafina. The trip lasts 13 hrs and 30 min.
Weekly - from and to Kimi of Evia. The trip lasts 12 hrs. There is also a weekly ferry service from / to Mytilini, Lesvos.
Infrequent - from and to Kavala. The trip lasts 6 hrs.
In the summer there is a weekly service to the port of Myrina from Thessalonica, Samothrace and the Dodecanese.
