THE
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
of Agios Kirikos located in the capital
of Ikaria, it contains over 200 items dating as far back as the
Classical Period. Items include column fragments, well preserved
amphorae, clay vessels, copper tools, weapons, personal items and the
impressive 5th BC funerary stele. It is open daily from 10:00 am to
3:00 pm except Monday and Thursday.
THE
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM of Kampos, near the village of Evdilos. There are
remarkable archaeological findings in the museum from the ruins of the ancient
classical town of Oinoe, such as collections of tools of the Neolithic period,
vessels of all the ancient periods, clay statuettes, carved headstones, coins etc.
